Passion
by: Jacob Blackburn

Lightning flashes upon the night sky,
Rain pouring down around us.
The smell of your skin makes me cry,
out with desire, passion a must.

Cool wet beads drip off our bodies,
a mixture of rain and sweat.
Embracing each other with love's sweet touch,
exploring hands roam, until our eyes met.

With one swift glance we knew for sure,
we would soon be one together.
Our bodies glasp tightly insync,
the sounds of our voices but a murmer.

The rythmic patter of the rain drops fall,
as we join in with the beat.
Lighting flashes, thunder crashes,
In my arms I feel you radiate a comforting heat.

Your eyes shoot bolts with the lightning sky,
your passion beams from your eyes,
Our reflection in the glass no longer shows us,
but rather one being inside.

Storming skies cease to be,
the thunder stops in turn,
Our passion slows but is neverending,
the fire of our love will always burn.

We lay as one as the sky clears,
rain drops turn to a mist,
I taste your full lips not wanting to let go,
Never will I want to be without your kiss.

The sun peaks up beginning another day,
Clouds dot the early morning sky,
We lay asleep, in our restful state,
My life is perfect, you by my side.

Light beams in through the rain drenched trees,
soft cries are heard from two morning doves.
I turn and look at your beautiful face,
You are mine, my true love.
